BesTitle is pleased to provide continuing education classes to the real estate agent community through its BesTitle Academy. Many classes offered meet the varying real estate continuing education requirements in Ohio, West Virginia, and Kentucky. The courses are taught by our staff attorneys.
Courses Offered
Closing Time: Escrow Services and Owner’s Title Insurance
The purpose of this course is to familiarize realtors and lenders with two major factors during the closing process – Escrow Services and Owner’s Title Insurance, which protects an owner or potential owner when purchasing a new home. This course will cover much of the process that sellers, buyers and agents may not see. Owner’s title insurance provides better security and confidence during the home-buying process. Realtors and lenders will have an understanding of the importance of the closing process and title insurance for clients looking to purchase a new home.
Probate and Estates
The purpose of this course is to familiarize realtors and lenders with probates and estates with real property. This course will provide an exploration of the process that sellers, buyers and agents may not see or be aware of in cases of probate. This course will provide instruction on the legal processes and terminology involved in selling a deceased person’s affairs and distributing their assets, as well as concerns that could prolong the process.
