We are excited to welcome Jalea Morgan to our growing team in Morgantown, WV.
Jalea received her B.A. from Concord University and then received her M.A. and J.D. from West Virginia University in Morgantown. She went into general law practice for several years in Summersville, WV, before returning to Morgantown, where she spent several years specializing in real estate law. She will be tasked with growing our Morgantown branch as Underwriting Counsel.
What made you decide to join BesTitle?
When the Covid lockdowns began, I started working from home for a wonderful company that specialized in legal bill review. I worked for that company for over a year but always wanted to get back to practicing property law. BesTitle offered me that opportunity.
What personal qualities do you have that help you succeed in your role at BesTitle?
I am dependable and kind. Clear and honest communication is important to me.
What excites you about the future of BesTitle?
We have assembled a newer but experienced team in the Morgantown office. I am looking forward to building and growing relationships with new and established customers with my new team.
What are the three things you can’t live without?
My family, my dogs, and coffee.
How do you like to spend your free time when you are not working?
I spend my free time in the summer swimming, taking my dogs on long walks, and jumping on my kayak at any opportunity. In the winter, I prefer curling up with a good book.
Please tell us about your family.
My parents, Daniel and Margaret Morgan, live in my childhood home in the most beautiful area of Richwood, West Virginia. My brother and sister-in-law, Jason Morgan and Sarah Farris, also live in Morgantown.
What are three words that your clients and/or colleagues have used to describe you?
Approachable, knowledgeable, and hard-working.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve received?
Always ask questions.
